However, recently sony made it so that you cannot (at least easily) make a japanese account and buy the game on a PS3. Leaving us with the only choise of modding our console.

So here is a guide on how to hack your PS3 and get the Japanese Ape 3 on it.

== Hacking your PS3 ==
You need:

* Any model of PS3 (connected to the internet)
* USB Stick
* Computer

Older models of PS3 can be modded with custom firmware but all models can be modded with PS3HEN, which i recommend unless you plan on using your modded console for a lot more.

Now, some people have reported that the PS2 games on PS3 have input delay.

I found that you can minimize this by going to the PS3 settings and turning off all smoothing and upscaling.
