Tricks

Boost Jump

If you need a tiny bit of extra height you can get it by swinging the net at the sametime as you do a double jump and then switching to a different gadget.

You can then combine this with the flyer for even more height.

Inputs

Jump --> Double jump and swing net --> swap gadget.

Glitches

Quad Jump

Quad Jump is a glitch that allows you to effectively go as high or as far as you'd ever want to but the inputs are really awkward for your hands.

You can do it with the net or with the hoop. The hoop method is easier.

With some setup you can jump out of the club spinning attack.

Inputs

(Hoop)

Have the hoop out and hold it into any direction with the right stick --> do a double jump (still holding the hoop) --> switch to the club and begin spinning the right stick --> when you see the spin attack, jump.

To chain these together you want to switch back to the hoop after the jump and repeat the inputs from above.

(Net)

Do the same inputs as for a boost jump but keep holding the right stick up after the net swing --> when you change to the club, iniciate the spin attack --> jump out of the spin.

You can chain these together again by swapping to the net on the jump and repeating the inputs.

Net Float

The classic glitch way to gain height in this game. This glitch is largely obsoleted by the Hip Drop Storage.

Swinging the net while in a glitched midair first person crawl has a very odd effect of launching you upwards.

The trick will get interrupted if during the net swing animation the net hits a wall.

You can chain these infinitely if you switch to the club afterwards and perform a Quad Jump and do another net float from that.

Inputs

Do a double jump and pull the slingshot right after --> hold L3 to crawl and press select to pause --> in the menu put your net over the slingshot --> hit select to unpause and begin holding the right stick up to fly.

You can also do a Double Net Float by doing the standard inputs --> pause and switch the slingshot back over the net --> Pull the right stick down, hold L3 then unpause and pause quickly --> Switch the net over the sling shot and hold right stick to fly again.

Hip Drop Storage (HDS)

This is the big glitch that mostly obsoleted the Net Float. It is really awkward on the hands and can be relatively difficult as it is a four frame trick.

The HDS allows you to fly up, down, forward or just hover at desired speed.

The inputs are the same as for the net float until the net swing.

If during HDS you hit a ceiling or a floor your ascending or descending will stop.

If you let go of the right stick or turn it too fast, the HDS will end.

The HDS will get interrupted if during the net swing animation the net hits a wall, in these places you should swing the net downwards and away from the wall.

Depending on what part of the jump animation after the ground pound you start holding the right stick, you can go up or down at whatever speed you were at. For example if you reach the peak of the jump, start falling down and then swing. Your HDS will move you downwards.

If you are running and then do the trick, you can move horizontally as well.

You can also do HDS out of water by simply falling into water while holding L3 in first person. Then from the water you can fly out whenever you want by switching to the net, holding the right stick in any direction and jumping.

A miscellaneous way to perform HDS is by getting damaged to cancel the first person. The get up animation is quicker so you have less time to jump afterwards.

Inputs

Do a double jump and pull the slingshot right after --> hold L3 to crawl --> while still holding L3, exit first person (ex: switch to net) --> let go of L3 and then press it again to ground pound --> take out the net if you haven't aleady --> start holding right stick in any direction and jump out the ground pound animation as soon as you can (you have 4 frames). If you end up just doing a little jump swing, then you weren't holding L3 when you cancelled first person.

If you end up just doing a little jump swing, then you weren't holding L3 when you cancelled first person.

If you do a crawl swing, then you missed the 4 frame jump window.
