Cryptic Relics - Basic Routing and Cliff Monkey Explanation: Video Tutorial

The hardest monkey to catch in this level is Bazzle - (a.k.a. cliff monkey).

You need to be able to neutral double jump in order to catch cliff monkey, there is a backup shown in the video above.

Tricks

"Ill Catch"

The second monkey normally requires you to push the block onto the button to open a door.

Instead you can catch him through the wall.

IJ up from the first monkey onto the wall, here you want to walk towards the second monkey. As you are above him, jump and swing the net backwards to turn around. Hit L1 to center the camera.

Here you want to grab onto the ledge. The easiest way to achieve this is by jumping and while midair moving down, if done this way you wont turn around as you move.

On the ledge you'll see a darker line vaguely in the shape of an 'L'. The monkey is directly under this spot on the wall.

Grab onto the ledge on that line then tap down on the left stick to fall. As you're falling hold the net out upwards towards the wall to get the monkey through it.
